We will explore how we can work collaboratively with our subject to achieve a portrait that captures their personality and style. We will also look at posing and setting your subject at ease. Technical learning points will include accurate focusing and metering for skin tones.

This class is designed to give you a solid understanding of the fundamental basics of photography the 'nuts and bolts' stuff that will set you on the path to understanding your camera and how to create great shots. Armed with these fundamentals, you will have the skills and the confidence to approach any style of photography, from portraits to landscapes and everything in between.During this course, we will cover such topics as the Exposure Triangle, Camera Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO and Composition.Photography is a technical exercise and there is a lot to learn, but these basics apply to any type of photography. However, as we only have a limited time to cover each of these topics, please keep a copy of this course guide and practice these tricks and techniques over and over again whenever you can.Taking great photos takes time, practice, patience and consideration. I loved this event. Hassan was very informative and gave me a completely different way to look at things. He showed us everyday day things we either hadn't noticed before and things we had noticed but not really looked at in depth or detail. It was really fascinating. I have no suggestions about improvement as to me it was a perfect time slot and the subject was explained in great detail with lots of practical ideas. Thank you Hassan 😊

It was a privilege and a delight to spend three hours in the studio with Hassan. I learned way more than I could have hoped and have come away with a new level of confidence about my photography and also about the uses of studio lighting. This session was particularly amazing because I was the only person attending, others having withdrawn at the last minute. It is testimony to Hassan's teaching skills, knowledge and experience, not to mention his patience, that he did not seek to shorten the session, but instead we actually went over time. This will be a workshop that I will remember.

    Hassan Nezamian
I launched my career as professional freelance photographer when I was awarded my first photography certificate in 2006.

I graduated from the University of the arts London in 2015 with honor bachelor 2019s degree and master 2019s degree in photojournalism and documentary photography in 2017.

In the past decade, I have sharpened the broad range of skills in photography and applied them in a variety of photography sub-branches that rendered me unique opportunities as a photographer providing me with the chance to establish robust communication skills with people of various age groups and culture.

Being behind a camera has donated me a full insight for perception of global phenomena and themes making me eagerly keen to convey my own definition of art and photography via my tools to the prospective photographers in the young generation.

Two bodies of work have been published since 2009. Iran Water, Wind, Soil in documenting Iran 2019s natural landscape and Bitterness of war which depicts the long-term effect of war in Bosnia.

From 2010 to the present date, I have been documenting a series of projects; namely, refugee and asylum seekers daily life in cooperation with Mary hill integration network, diversity of leprosy in west Bengal India partially funded by The Leprosy Mission of England and Wales, Romney Marsh Wool in Southern England and West Wales was defined and implemented, Iranian Leaving room in London related to immigration of four generations of Iranian immigrants.

I was invited to teach photography within the framework of art workshops in 2011 in Glasgow focusing on basics of photography and studio lighting.

I have already had over 15 solo photography exhibitions in the United Kingdom during the past 10 years and also I was nominated in the following events for the prize.

La Grande Photo Awards Nominee photo.
    International photography of the year
EDITORIAL: DOCUMENTARY (PROFESSIONAL) - HONORABLE MENTION
    Grand prix photography award 2012
    Serbian photo completion 2015 nominated

This photo was taken late afternoon on a June day. The weather forecast was right and it was exactly as predicted. Great light, almost no wind, only the midges did not forget their role and this was the least pleasant moment. Despite this, I was pleased with this outdoor setting and the photos I managed to take that day.
